Located on a verdant plot of land at the foot of the Serra de Porto de Mós, Casa das Árvores is set amongst leafy canopies and ancient trunks, as if asking nature for permission to exist. The silence of the place shapes the architecture, which is designed with respect, lightness and restraint.
The house is oriented towards the interior of the landscape, with carefully positioned openings — attics that not only provide light, but also frame the trees, transforming the greenery into an integral part of the interior walls. Each view is a living window, a constantly changing picture.
